Sunday's Indie Wedding Social wasn't just about cool ideas, music, amazing food and drink...it was also about serious wedding style:) We had live models showcasing some of our vendors creations and socializing with our guests! It was such a great way to show how a gown or necklace, bow-tie or flowers, hair or makeup could all come together to complete a fabulous wedding look. Have a peak at the photos of our six models below and read about the artists who were behind all this incredible work! If you haven't had a chance to view part 1 of this post you can do so here!:)The beautiful ladies just before showtime! Lets start with Alli....She volunteered to wear one of Gillian Hannah Berry Designs dresses and man did she POP! I loved the colour and style of this dress and think it would suit any occasion, from a cocktail party or rehearsal dinner to a bridesmaid dress or even a wedding dress!:) Alli's gorgeous hair is courtesy of Jessica Fletcher from True Beauty Salon and her stunning makeup was done by Naphtali Carleton! I adore how she carries a wreath in place of a traditional bouquet:) Chelsea Lee Flowers was the creator behind this genius idea! Alli's elegant bracelet is the work of Lydia Buxton and her ring Gillian Hannah Berry Designs:) Don't you just LOVE the hem of this dress??? Okay, now THIS guy... is DREAMY! Don't you agree? Hahaha...he is not going to like that I just wrote that but its absolutely true! (he just happens to be my husband if you were not aware;) David pulls this look of effortlessly! He is sporting an H&M blazer, a bow-tie from 'East of Ordinary' and his boutonniere is from Chelsea Lee Flowers! Meghan's gown is vintage....and I don't mean like 'vintage inspired' I mean like vintage vintage. Her dress is from the circa Edwardian era, somewhere between 1905-1912. Its 100% cotton with hand stitching ALL over it. The details on it are amazing!!! Fancy Lucky is the fabulous little vintage shop where this gem came from. They are planning on releasing a wedding line full of dresses sometime this spring! Their shop is located in Lawrencetown out by the beach...and the most amazing news is that they are opening a shop next week downtown on Queen street called FANCY! I'm definitely going to be checking it out:) Hair by Jessica Fletcher and makeup done by Naphtali Carleton! The flower crown was so breathtaking! Chelsea Lee Flowers made this piece of art and it fit Meghan's look and style perfectly!:) Look at those hand stitched details! This guys wears a bow-tie like no other! Devon totally rocks suits as well and I LOVED his outfit. The perfect mix of casual and formal, trendy and traditional:) The bow-tie once again is the fabulous work of East of Ordinary and the boutonniere Chelsea Lee Flowers! Drew is wearing an A-MAZING dress designed and crafted by Gillian Hannah Berry Designs and if you want to see MORE of this dress check out the Blue Willow shoot!:) Her hair and makeup are compliments of Jessica Fletcher and Naphtali Carleton... The gorgeous bouquet was done by Chelsea Lee Flowers and I just LOVE the colours she used!:) Okay...so if you are wondering who made this back necklace? You have to check out Gillian Hannah Berry Designs...She sells her amazing jewelry creations down at the Halifax Seaport Market every weekend! And last but certainly not least we have Chris! I think he should win the 'best smile ever' award. But he totally pulls off this sweater vest, boutonniere and bow-tie brilliantly:)I am so happy with how all of these looks turned out and feel SO blessed and honoured that I got to work along side such talents in the wedding industry:) Thanks for reading guys!
